As an artist herself, Karen has spent the past seven years focused on creating and moving her art out into the world. Now, as a successful full-time professional artist, Karen is committed to supporting other artists in doing the same. 
Whether you are a closet artist, an art dabbler or highly committed to getting out there as an artist, Karen is about guiding, sharing and teaching what she knows and has learned from practical experience.
Understanding how overwhelming and challenging the process of creating exposure can be, Karen has the patience and know-how to help other artists create possibilities in moving their art forward. Whatever matters to you most -- taking it step by step. |

It is important for Karen to know that the artist being coached is ready,
committed and open to creating possibilities with their art,
as this is what will move the artist forward in getting their art out there.

Coaching fee: $40 per hour* |
*Fee based on telephone coaching sessions.
The fee is higher if an off-site session is required. |

What can an artist expect from a coaching session? |
Karen coaches through conversation. A look at where you are currently at with your art and where you would like to take your art in the future is explored. Goals are set and the logisics of how and when such goals may be reached are key.
Karen hears what is important and what matters to you most. You then work together and build a foundation and focus based on your needs, wishes and integrity.
The coaching process can move along at whatever pace is comfortable with the artist. It can be a one-time session or on-going.

"Leaping"
February 2009 Karen left her full-time position of 15 years at a local college to
follow her dream and passion of becoming a full-time artist.
Karen shares her story from the months prior to resignation to the present time.
Karen's wish is to inspire artists in realizing their dreams and passions.
The Powerpoint presentation is 35 minutes in length,
with a 10 minute
question and answer.
